FAQ. Leasing for Business

What documents are required to apply for a leasing?

Please send us a leasing application that you can easily fill in on our website or in our internet bank (“Applications” → “Leasing”).
Enclose the following with the application:

the seller’s offer;
financial report for the last year and operating results (Balance sheet and Profit or loss statement with transcripts);
other information or documents upon the request.

Which lease should you choose – financial lease or operational lease?

This depends on whether you would like to become the owner of the car when the lease agreement expires or whether you only want to use it.
Financial lease – if the company would like to become the owner of the car and pays the whole price to us during the term of the lease.
Operational lease – if you only want to use the car. However, at the end of the lease period you return it to the seller.

How old can a leased car be?

The leased car may not be more than 10 years old by the end of the lease term.

Can a leasing agreement be terminated early?

Yes, it can. If you would like to terminate your agreement early, please send us your request by e-mail lizingas@luminor.lt and we will send you the invoice for buying out the car. Once you’ve paid this amount to us, we will send you the termination documents and you can initiate the change of ownership in Regitra.

Can additional payments be made into the leasing agreement during its term?

Yes, please send us your request by e-mail lizingas@luminor.lt.

Can leasing agreement be changed?

Yes, but the lease agreement must then be amended. If you would like to change the leasing agreement, please send us your request by e-mail lizingas@luminor.lt.

Please note that you may be charged for the amendment of the lease agreement according to our price list.

Is Casco insurance necessary in the case of a leasing agreement?

Yes, Casco insurance is mandatory. Insurance manages the main risks that may emerge when the leased asset is damaged or destroyed. Beneficiary shall always represent Luminor Lizingas UAB, code 111667277.

Can I take care of the insurance by myself? What should I do?

Yes, in that case please send us a copy of your insurance to our insurance partner for authorization by e-mail luminor.lt@greco.services.

Note that, Beneficiary shall always represent Luminor Lizingas UAB, code 111667277.

What should I do if an insured event occurs?

In case of an insured event notify the respective institutions immediately (police, fire protection service, etc.), and your insurance company.

How to get leasing invoices?

Do I need to obtain a certificate if I want to go abroad by the leased car?

Yes, for certificates/permissions contact us by e-mail lizingas@luminor.lt.

Can I transfer the leasing agreement to another person?

Yes, you can. Please send us your request by e-mail lizingas@luminor.lt. Upon request, the options, and conditions for transferring your contract will be considered (the new conditions of the agreement may differ from the current agreement).
