The new head office and modern financial service centre for DNB bank customers will move to the newly constructed "Quadrum" business centre in Vilnius, Konstitucijos avenue 21. This is provided by the long-term rent agreement signed with the Norwegian real estate development company Schage Real Estate that won the tender launched by the bank.
It is planned that DNB Bankas will move to the new business centre designed according the latest architectural trends and situated on the right bank of the Neris river in September 2015. DNB will house in the tallest 17-storey building of the complex developed by Schage. DNB tower will occupy 10,000 square metres space there. The financial and real estate consultancy company Newsec/Re&Solution advised the bank in selection of the winner out of the nine tender proposals that met the needs of the customers and employees best.
"The investment in the modern financial service centre of DNB confirms the long-term commitment of our shareholder's in Lithuania". We want our new head office to meet our customers’ expectations, be convenient for efficient work, to fit in organically Vilnius environment and become a friendly center for inhabitants, business and city guests,” - says Bjornar Lund, CEO of DNB Bankas.
The top class office centre will stand out for its innovatory technical solutions. It will be the first in the Baltic States to have the international BREAAM certificate for sustainable construction. It is a high quality guarantee granted upon assessing the construction in terms of sustainability, health impact, energy efficiency, water quality, and efficient usage of materials, waste and land.
"The tender has clearly revealed that at the moment in Vilnius there are practically no RE objects of prestigious class that could fully satisfy the needs of large businesses. We are happy to be able to fill this gap. It is symbolic that the first lessee of "Quadrum" business centre is a strong and reliable company which, like our company, is of the Norwegian capital and we also share the Scandinavian attitude towards the high quality standards and sustainable development," - says Kjetil T. Hanssen, director of  Schage company.

The agreement has opened the door to Schage to start the construction of the business centre in January. The new business centre will comprise three buildings which, including open spaces, will house a total area of 70 thousand square meters. The main building, like the others, will use advanced energy-efficient technologies.

"Quadrum" will cover not only office premises but also a recreational zone – a green yard open to residents and visitors of the city, underground parking for 700 cars, and also separate cultural and service zones.
The overall value of the investments made by Schage into the project is estimated at LTL 260 million.
