Please be informed that the existing direct debit service is incompliant with the requirements set by the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) regulation, therefore we will not be offering this service after 31 December 2015.
From 1 January 2016 the direct debit service will be replaced with the new electronic invoice (hereinafter – e-invoice), which will enable you to receive electronic invoices through on-line banking system and to pay them by making an automatic payment order.
Your effective consent for direct debit:
will be converted into an e-invoicing application and an order to make an automatic credit transfer for payment of e-invoices, if your service provider uses the e- invoicing service. You can check whether your service provider has chosen to use the e-invoicing service in the list published on the Bank’s website (the list is updated on a regular basis). In this case no action is required on your part: the bank will make the relevant changes by 8 January 2016. The precise date of the change will be published on the bank’s website.
In case the date of your payment for goods or services coincides with the specified date during the transition period (1-8 January 2016), please contact your service provider to specify whether you will receive the e- invoice or will have to make a regular payment transfer.
will cease in effect as from 1 January 2016, if your service provider does not use the e-invoicing service. If the service provider does not enter into the e-invoicing agreement, you will be able to pay for the services by standing order. You can check the service fee in the Pricelist link on the Bank’s website.
In case from 1 January 2016 you wish to settle for the provided services in other way than by an automatic transfer, you can cancel your consent for the direct debit by 28 December 2015 (at the bank or with the service provider).
The procedure for the provision of the e- invoicing service is set forth in the new wording of the Terms and Conditions for the Provision of Payment Services which from 1 November 2015 have been published on the bank’s website www.dnb.lt
