Luminor appoints Johannes Proksch as Chief Financial Officer

Luminor is pleased to announce the appointment of Johannes Proksch as Chief Financial Officer and as a member of the Management Board, effective Tuesday, 2 July 2024. His predecessor, Palle Nordahl, has resigned from the Board and Luminor effective 1 July 2024, to return home to Denmark for the next stage in his career.
Johannes is a highly accomplished executive with 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector. He previously served as Group Transformation Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Addiko bank in Austria. Prior to this, Johannes was Group Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Executive at HETA Asset Resolution AG and he has also held several roles in London at Morgan Stanley, CitiGroup, ABN AMRO and UBS.
Johannes will report directly to Wojciech Sass and will oversee all aspects of the finance function.

Johannes, an Austrian citizen, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Economics & Business Administration in Vienna. He is Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Addiko Bank. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
