Luminor appoints Wojciech Sass as Chief Executive Officer

Luminor is pleased to announce the appointment of Wojciech Sass as Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Management Board effective Monday, 18 March 2024. His predecessor, Peter Bosek, will resign from the Board and as CEO the day before.
Wojciech is an acclaimed international business leader with widespread experience in the financial services industry and deep operational knowledge of retail and business banking, IT systems, and processes. He joins Luminor from Aion Bank, a digital bank operating from Belgium, which he co-founded and where he served as Chief Executive Officer. Wojciech’s previous roles also include Chief Executive Officer of Nationale Nederlanden Poland, Vice President of the Management Board of BNP Paribas Bank Polska, and Head of BCG Poland.
Nils Melngailis, Chair of the Supervisory Council of Luminor, said:

Mr Sass, a Polish citizen, holds a Master of Science degree in Operations Management awarded by Cracow University of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree awarded by London Business School. He will relocate to Tallinn with his family. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
