Please be informed that we’re updating Travel Insurance terms and conditions* for Luminor card holders on 1 January 2024.

Please take a moment to read through the summary of upcoming changes for Visa Classic, Luminor Black, Visa Gold, Visa Business, and Luminor Visa Infinite card holders:

  • A new fixed amount compensation of EUR 100 for bone breaks and fractures will be introduced for Luminor Black and Luminor Visa Infinite card holders.
  • Insurance coverage will be valid anytime, anywhere – both in Lithuania and abroad.
  • Great news for those who love extreme sports – the insurance will cover all sports, for example, rock climbing, surfing.
  • The insurance will also cover the costs of one insured event per year.
  • A rental car deductible insurance of EUR 500 will be included in the Travel Insurance terms and conditions (applicable only for Luminor Black and Visa Gold card holders). If your rental car is stolen, burgled, or destroyed, and you need to pay a deductible specified in the Kasko insurance agreement, we will cover up to EUR 500 of your expenses.
  • Luminor Visa Infinite card holders who have a rental car deductible insurance of EUR 2,000 included in their Travel Insurance will no longer have to pay an unconditional deductible of EUR 250 in the event of a road accident.
  • A compensation limit for an accident leading to death or disability during the domestic trip will change to EUR 10,000.
  • If you fall ill with COVID‑19 during the trip and require medical treatment, your expenses will be covered as medical emergency treatment costs. COVID‑19 disease will be considered as an insured event and special conditions will be removed from the Travel Insurance terms and conditions.
  • Travel Insurance terms and conditions will now apply worldwide (except for the cases specified in the Travel Insurance terms and conditions).
  • A limit for medical expenses will increase from EUR 75,000 to EUR 100,000 (for Visa Business card holders).

If you agree to our proposed changes, you don't need to take any action.

If you don’t agree to changes, you have the right to withdraw from the service agreements affected by these changes immediately, free of charge, and without penalty by notifying us in writing by 31 December 2023 and fulfilling the obligations arising from these service agreements.
