As of 1 February, new fees for main daily banking services will be introduced: a plan "Viskas viename" will be provided for students and seniors at no cost

As of 1 February, Nordea Bank Lithuania is going to introduce a minimum monthly service fee of EUR 0.70. The fee will cover administration of customers accounts, and the incoming payments from Nordea and other banks will not involve any additional costs.
As of 1 February, Bank Nordea Lithuania will provide seniors over 60 years and students from 18 to 22 years old with a daily banking services plan "Viskas viename" at no cost. The standard fee for this plan is EUR 1.5 per month. By choosing this plan, customers will be provided with the following services: a contactless debit card, free cash withdrawal up to EUR 600.00 per month from Nordea ATMs in Lithuania and Nordea Group ATMs abroad (in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Russia, Latvia and Estonia) as well as the possibility to execute an unlimited number of outgoing payments in EUR (to the banks of the EU/EEA), including utility payments. This daily banking services plan is in line with the minimum payment services set (basic services of a payment account) approved by the Bank of Lithuania. For state support persons, the fee for these services is smaller, i.e. EUR 0.75. A plan "Viskas viename" can be ordered by filling up an application in Nordea Netbank or by visiting a local Nordea customer service branch.
Once customers have chosen a plan "Viskas viename", they do not need to pay an additional minimum monthly service fee of EUR 0.70.
"Currently, there are 133,000 students and 719,000 seniors over 60 years in Lithuania. They are a population group with lower income, therefore we provide more favourable conditions for this group in order to make our services accessible to all", says Jaunius Marinskas, Head of Retail Banking at Nordea Lithuania.
A plan "Viskas viename" covers the following services:
Outgoing payment in EUR to Lithuanian and European Union banks via Nordea Netbank
Incoming payments in EUR from Lithuanian and European Union banks
Utility payments
Cash withdrawal with a debit card from Nordea ATMs in Lithuania (up to EUR 600)
Cash withdrawal with a debit card from Nordea Group ATMs abroad (up to EUR 600)
Monthly card maintenance fees
The customers can also choose a banking services plan for credit cards including a higher withdrawal limit. More information can be found here.
