E-mails to customers linking to a fake Nordea Netbank are being sent

Nordea bank informs that recently e-mails to customers linking to a fake internet banking system have been sent that seek to gather you confidential data. The most common text in fake emails was as follows “Dear customer, you have received a new payment. Login to your account”.

We kindly remind you that Nordea bank never contacts you via e-mail or telephone to ask for your personal data. Any financial transactions you make are always processed in our internet banking systems after you went through identification process.

When using internet banking, always follow the basic rules that will keep you secure – never click on a link in e-mail and do not open the attachments if you are not completely certain of its authenticity, avoid providing confidential data to a suspicious websites.
