In its annual ranking of 500 banks, Brand Finance puts Nordea in the number 1 slot for the Nordics. In the global league, Nordea has climbed two places to number 32.

Brand Finance is a brand valuation consultancy that uses a recognised brand valuation method. The method is used by tax authorities, courts, etc. around the world to value brands, and involves an estimate of what it would cost to licence or use the brand. Nordea’s brand is valuated 7.4 billion USD and has the rating AAA- (extremely strong).
