We kindly inform you that on 10th of July 2013 the European Union agreed to Latvia‘s request to join the euro zone by 1st of January 2014. By this date Latvia will become a euro zone member, and its national currency, Latvian lats, will be changed into euros.
Due to this change we would like to inform you that Latvian lats currency exchange will be available till 20th of December 2013 in all Nordea Lithuania branches. Payments to other banks will be accepted until 27th of December 2013.
From 1st of January 2014 operations in Latvian lats will not be available.
